Share a short video about your role

We’re currently looking for short video clips to use on the Green Jobs for Nature campaign’s website and social media to demonstrate to young people and career changers what a Green Job for Nature looks like.

It can be as simple or creative as you like – anything that might inspire the next generation. We thought what better way for young people and career changers to understand what a Green Job for Nature is than through the people that have green jobs!

Alternatively, you may wish to submit a few photos reflective of your role and the work you do. For photos, please ensure that submissions are high quality so that they will not appear blurry. Remember to add a caption in the description box giving a brief overview of the context.

Further Guidance

We are looking for responses to some/all of the following questions:

  • What is your job title and what do you do in your role?
  • What do you like most about your job?
  • What inspired you into this career?
  • Can you walk us through your career trajectory…how did you get to where you are today?
  • What’s your favourite thing about working in the sector/having a green job for nature?
  • What advice would you give to someone coming into the profession?
  • Anything else you feel comfortable talking about that you might think would be relevant to young people or career changers.

Videos should be:

  • Reasonably high quality (ideally 720p-1080p)
  • mp4, .mov, .mpeg, .3gp, or .avi file types
  • Portrait (rather than landscape), and ideally 1080×1920/9:16
  • No larger than 72MB
  • No more than 3 minutes long – this could be one video or a few short 30-60 second clips. We may edit longer videos to be shorter on Instagram Reels and TikTok.
Share videos in one of three ways:
  • Record and upload your video from your smartphone directly via our Videoask link
  • Directly upload files up to 72MB via our web form below. Files above this size can be sent to us via WeTransfer — please send to info at greenjobsfornature (dot) org
  • Upload your video to social media and tag us or use #GreenJobsforNature so that we can re-post or highlight this content to our audience
