Please describe the work that you do.
I work in a team managing Subcontractors, helping them join our bank of subbies, making it easy for them and assisting them throughout the process. Advising when documents have expired etc. As a team we aim to be as friendly and welcoming as possible. I was previously a Project Coordinator for Biocensus and from my experience in that team working directly with Subbies an know the importance of good relationships and experiences.
What do you most like about your job? Any dislikes?
I like the people that I work with the most, but I have also built great relationships with subcontractors that I have previously worked for. Its great to work with such talented people.
What inspired you into this career?
I had heard of RSK before and I knew they were a reputable company.
Have you faced any challenges in progressing your career so far?
Not really
What education/training did you have?
I am educated up to NVQ level. Haven’t had any specific training for Ecology.
What advice would you give to someone coming into the profession?
Do it! Its a fab industry to get into!
